Flowering Raspberry
Rubus odoratus

Summary
The most notable features of flowering raspberry are its fragrant, rose-like, long-blooming flowers, maple-like leaves that turn golden in the fall, and hairy stems (canes) with virtually no prickles. It grows happily in full sun, but is also quite tolerant of shade, making it a good ‘starter’ layer to mix in among new plantings of trees. It’s also useful to stabilize banks or slopes. Keep an eye on its vigorous, suckering growth habit, and prune right after fruiting for best result.
